Ray Kaquatosh Coming to speak this Saturday!

Little Hawk - aka Ray Kaquatosh will present a program on Menominee Indian Culture on Saturday, January 30 in the Community Center (attached to the library) from 10am to about 11 am.  If you haven't heard Ray speak, this is a great opportunity to hear his words and passions.  The son of a Menominee Medicine Woman, Ray was sent to Indian Boys School and while there, met a lone wolf in the woods.  They became lifelong friends, the wolf living for many more years to visit Ray when he came back from WWII and from the Korean War.  Ray persevered through many trials, meeting and marrying "the mos

Well, you knew wintger was coming!  Seems to be here with a bit of a vengeance!  Not all bad, though - we have some snow, so hopefully we'll get some snowmobilers here in the county, which is a nice bit of income for businesses!  Plus, now we can all use our "outdoor freezers!

Just a reminder it is nice and warm here at the library and Perry and Doug keep our sidewalks clear, but so qwatch for icy spots that pop up, we try to keep them salted, but they're sneaky!

December 26th (Saturday) Closed

December 31st Close at 6pm

January 1st Closed - Happy New Year!

January 2nd Open 9am-1pm (regular hours!)
