In the Good Old Summertime! 150 Years Young!

TIme has flown - it is June!  It is also the 150th Anniversary of Wild Rose!  It is our Sesquicentennial (I love that word!)

Thursday, June 15, 3pm  Magic Morgan & Liliana!  Our first performers!  They are a deaf couple from Delavan - and super nice!

Tuesday, June 20, 2pm STEAM begins with sky-high fun - Water bottle rockets!  A crowd pleaser every year!  (If you have any 1 or  2 Liter pop bottles, please bring one or two - ours are getting old!

Thursday, June 22, 3pm  Zoozort!  Another crowd pleaser, Ms. Noelle brings an assortment of critters for close up viewing, some touching, and the occasional scare or two!  I just hope she brings her yellow python!

Tuesday, June 27, 2pm  STEAM Lego Marble Maze!  Build a tricky Marble maze using LEGO bricks - then guide your marble through the maze!  Extra fun...switch mazes with someone else!

Thursday, June 29, from 11am to 4pm  DinoFest!  SO.  Many. Things.  The Weiss Earth Museum will be here with fossils galore!  Ms Erin   author/illustrator of the Rhino & Dino picture book series will be here to sign and sell books, including her new book - "Rhino& Dino in: first!" 

Pop! Balloon artist Stacey will be here to tie up some dino balloons and Whimbubble Studios will be her to paint a dino on your face! 

Also featuring a dino RAWR! contest at 1230, Dino nuggets for lunch from 11-Noon, Dino Crafts and more fun!

DinoFest concludes with Dinosaur Dimensions at 3pm - a show with real live dinosaurs!!!

Thursday, July 6, 3pm Micah Sommersmith returns with his accordion to brighten our day!

Tuesday, July 11, 2pm STEAM TWOFER!  We are not only doing Make your own Ice Cream in a bag - but I-Spy bottles!

Thursday, July 13, 3pm  The music of Rich Bauman!  Singer, songwriter, funnn guy and man about town - Rich brings his award-winning show to our village again!

Tuesday, July 18, 2 pm STEAM we'll do Skittle Art!  Fun you can eat!

SATURDAY, JULY 22, 1PM AND 230PM AT WILD ROSE DAYS, Roberts Park -  on the Children's Stage at 3rd base - Talewise - Science with an attitude! (and a lot of laughs!)

Thursday, July 27, NOON - End of Summer Reading Picnic!  with Ms Heidi from the UWEX with a fun craft and of course WATER FIGHT!  Enjoy a picnic sandwich, corn on the cob,  chips and water, then win a prize from the raffle!
