Everyone around here knows Jerry Apps, at least his name, if not the man personally. Well, we here at the Patterson are blessed to have Jerry as our guardian angel and benefactor. Jerry teaches a workshop up north in Door County on Telling Your Story, and he has asked to teach one here in Wild Rose for a couple of reasons: first, Jerry believes everyone has a story and that story is important. It is important to your family and to your family history. Second, you are the only one who knows your personal histroy, so you have to be the one to save it!
We found a nice date - June 11, 2016. It will be a beautiful sunny Saturday, with little birds chirping on every tree. (or it might rain or be cloudy, heck, it might snow!) We've reserved the community center (attached to the library), and ordered a catered lunch. Jerry will do a full day workshop beginning at 9am and finishing at 4 pm. The cost is $75.00 per person, but you get a copy of Jerry's new book (out in June) "Telling Your Story," and the delicious lunch!
We have to limit the size of this class, and Jerry set the count at 32 people. Simply cdall the library at 920-622-3835 and give us your information to reserve your spot. You may send us a check or pay Saturday, June 11. We will call to confirm everyone who signed up is attending inorder to give our caterer the correct count, so we'll get your name address and phone number, when yo call.
