Canners Wanted!!!!!!
We are trying to get a group together who would like to water bath can some food items at Front Porch Pets. They have a huge commercial kitchen and commercial size blanchers, which would be perfect for sterilizing jars and water bath canning! Let me (Kent), know asap if you're interested! We need to do this soon!
Halloween Trick or Treat will be from 3-5 pm on Sunday, October 30, in the Village of Wild Rose and Springwater Township (the Subdivision).
There will be a book talk and signing by Jerry Apps and his son Steve Apps on Saturday, November 5 at 10am, for their new book, Roshara Journal.
Saturday, November 19 is the Annual Christmas Treasure, Book and Bake Sale, from 9 am to Noon! Do you want a Charlie Brown tree, or a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Tree? We have great bargains on ornaments, decorations, baked goods and books! Support your library! If you have gently used Christmas items to donate, please bring thejm to the library by Friday, November 11. If you would like to donate baked goods to the Bake Sale, please bring them to the library after 1:30pm Friday, November 18.
