Do YOU Use the Library?

Do you use your library?  Not just to check out items, (although please check out more!), but do you send faxes, make copies, get assistance with job applications and resumes, get help setting up a device or an email account? Do you come to the library and use the computers or laptops, use the wi-fi?  Do you not come in, but use the wi-fi from your car?  Do you come in to read a magazine article or research an automotive repair or find a part?  Do you bring your children to Storytime, or do you bring them in because you know reading is important?  Do you come in to check out a DVD?  Do you come to our programs?

Everyone who comes in, does so for a different reason - and there are as many reasons as there are people.

Libraries are important, especially in rural communities.

Libraries are meeting places - moms meet moms and form relationships over Storytime, they make play dates.  Amateur astronomers download star maps and information.  Young people meet up and talk quietly.

Libraries are safe places for everyone - to met, to visit, to be accepted for who they are.  We are inclusive.

We are here - for you - all of you.  We welcome you like the Statue of Liberty.

WELCOME!
