"Curbside Service" begins Monday April 27

New Curbside Service Details – April 23, 2020

In accordance with the Winnefox Library System, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and Wisconsin Emergency Order #28 we will once again be offering “curbside service” to our patrons beginning Monday, April 27.

We will offer this service from 12 Noon to 5pm weekdays.  You must call in to place items on hold or place them on hold online.  The Library and the Community Center will not be open.
We will call you when your items are ready for pickup.
You must be in good standing with a valid library card.

“Curbside Service” will mean several things, the first is that we will only bring items out to a car for those who are handicapped and not able to walk well.  Please call the library when you arrive at the employee entrance on the West side (by the small white storage building) – drive up on the driveway/walk and if possible open your trunk, your items will be placed in your trunk.
All other items for patrons will be placed on a small book cart in the foyer on the East side (“flag side).  Your items will be in a plastic bag that has been stored for several months away from any possible contamination.  Please only take your bag (or bags!).

If someone else is picking up their items, please wait outside the foyer and maintain social distancing of 6 feet or more.

Returns: Please return all items in book drop – always return books spine first, please!

Holds:

All holds will be filled locally – for now items must be in stock at our library.
You may still use the catalog, but will not be able to request things from other libraries.
Previous holds will stay in limbo until modified in the system by Winnefox

Delivery:

Because holds will not be traveling from library to library, delivery will be modified so that we will only have one delivery per week on Wednesday.  This will be our items returning to us.

ALL ITEMS checked out during curbside will be DUE ON JUNE 1

Due to the nature of our business – everything is subject to change!  Please check on the Website and on our Facebook page.  We expect that in a week or two holds from other libraries in our system will be allowed, and more deliveries will be scheduled per week.  We will address problems, concerns and opportunities as they arise.

Thank you for being patient!  As always, use our Research tab on the website www.wildroselibrary.org for online resources!
