Well, we got the first 9 cake pans all ready to go!  They are all character cake pans, but we have some loaf pans, springform pans, Jell-o molds, etc coming soon!

Why?  When I was interviewing in Iowa, one of the things they told me about was their baking pan library.  What a great idea!  Suppose you have a young boy who loves Spiderman - THIS year - now you don't have to run out and by a pan, you come to the library and check one out!  Barbie?  No problem.  Lighning McQueen.  Piece of cake! 

August is time for getting prepared for another school year and more fun! 

Mr. Kent's Storytime will be on hiatus all of August and the first week of September (Labor Day week).

We'll be getting ready for some very special events coming up this fall, so don't go away!  Come into the library to see what's new!

WOW!  Summer is rushing by!

Our first MakerSpace was great - we even did it twice!  July 16 will be a MakerSpace Twofer!  First, from 2-330 we'll learn how to dehydrate fruits and veggies,then from 330-430 learn how simple circuits work by painting conductive paint on  paper and connecting the lines to a battery and an LED!

Zoozort with Noelle Tarrant - an interactive LIVE ANIMAL SHOW! that's Thursday, July 10 at 1 pm, then we have Lucy and friends, a spuppet show at 1 pm on Thursday July 17.
