WOW! that was a fast summer!
School will be starting in a few short weeks and once again, we are going to do the firsties! program again this year!
Firsties! is for the first grade students at Wild Rose Elementary school. Each month we will post a video on Facebook which will have a secret phrase! When a child comes to the library, they give us the secret code and they receive a prize. In addition, each time they come in and check out a book, they put a bead in their class jar. at the end of the school year, we count up the beads to see which teacher's class is the winner of a popsicle party!
We are encouraging: reading, responsibility and learning about the library for a lifetime of free resources.
If you are the parent of a first grader, look for your child to bring home a firsties! sheet
